As international aviation moves toward ambitious decarbonisation goals, SAF is emerging as a key enabler for reducing emissions across medium- and long-haul flights. India, the third-largest domestic aviation market, consumed 8.9 million tonnes of ATF in FY 2024, almost entirely fossil-based. As global airlines look to decarbonise, the opportunity for India to lead in SAF production, backed by abundant feedstocks and refining capacity, is significant.
We’re pleased to have Sarah Giam, Associate Editor – Biofuels & Net-Zero at Argus Media, who will present an overview covering:
• Global SAF policy developments (ReFuelEU, IRA)
• Feedstock and technology trends
• Market pricing and investment outlook
• India’s policy and infrastructure landscape
• Regional developments across Asia
