GH2 India recently supported a high-level training workshop on Green Shipping Fuels and Power-to-X (PtX), held from 20–22 January 2026 at The Taj Ambassador. The event brought together a powerhouse of national and international stakeholders to accelerate India’s maritime decarbonization.

The workshop was organized alongside the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), the Danish Maritime Authority (DMA), GIZ India, and TERI (NCoEGPS).

Over three days, participants delved into:

• PtX Fuel Pathways: Converting renewable energy into green methanol and ammonia.
• IMO Standards: Aligning with international lifecycle assessment (LCA) guidelines.
• Green Corridors: Developing the port infrastructure necessary for zero-emission shipping.
