GH2 India (Green Hydrogen Association – India) is pleased to announce the appointment of Shri Bhupinder S. Bhalla, IAS (Retd.), former Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, as Chair of the Governance Board, effective 1 January 2026.
Shri Bhalla brings over three decades of distinguished public service, with leadership roles across energy, infrastructure, finance, and industrial policy. His tenure at MNRE was instrumental in advancing India’s renewable energy agenda, including the early momentum behind the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
His appointment marks a significant milestone in GH2 India’s next phase of growth, as the organisation strengthens its leadership and governance framework to support India’s rapidly expanding green hydrogen ecosystem.
Shri Bhupinder S Bhalla said:
