GH2 India Signs MoU with International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA), China to Strengthen Global Hydrogen Collaboration
Green Hydrogen India (GH2 India) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA) at the recently concluded Hydrosphere in Paris, France. This partnership marks a significant milestone in GH2 India’s efforts to foster international collaboration and advance India’s leadership in the global renewable hydrogen ecosystem.
About IHFCA
IHFCA is a prominent international non-profit organization headquartered in Beijing, China. It promotes global collaboration across hydrogen and fuel cell technologies and aims to accelerate commercialization (especially FCVs). The association has grown rapidly since its founding in 2022, now comprising over 102 members across 21 countries.
Key Objectives of the MoU
Through this MoU, GH2 India and IHFCA will:
- Grant reciprocal recognition and network access to their respective members
- Co-host information sessions, convenings, workshops, and outreach programs
- Provide stakeholders with access to global and regional ecosystem insights, policy updates, and technical developments
- Facilitate matchmaking and collaboration among members, strengthening connections across the hydrogen value chain

Headquartered in China, IHFCA is one of the leading industry associations promoting worldwide hydrogen collaboration and FCV rollout and commercialization with over 102 members, covering 21 countries. IHFCA works extensively across the hydrogen value chain, expanding into fuel cell hydrogen storage solutions and projects.
Under this MoU, both organisations will facilitate network access and reciprocal recognition of its members, creating a bridge between the various regional hydrogen associations and further strengthening the cohesiveness of the global hydrogen community. GH2 India and IHFCA will together support information sessions, convenings, and also enable access to information to its stakeholders about regional and global ecosystem developments.
